CardMan® Desktop

Our standardized readers are connected via USB or serial cable to a desktop computer to be placed on the desk or to be attached to a monitor. They are equally suited for laptop usage.

Secure identification is one of the key topics in the IT arena today. Smart cards are the ideal means to realize secure identification to corporate networks, online services or other security applications while at the same time are easy to handle - as easy to handle as our mature smart card readers.

By complying with all relevant worldwide industry standards (PC/SC, OCF and CT-API) you can be sure that whatever reader you choose it works with a great variety of smart cards, operating systems, and applications. For the USB readers we support CCID so that you simply plug in without any additional download of drivers.

The CardMan® models for desktop usage are designed to perfectly fit onto your desk or to be attached to your monitor for those who want their desk free of any additional hardware. You will feel that our readers have an ergonomically designed housing – for instance with the CardMan® 3111 and 3121 card insertion and pull-out can be mastered with one hand.

Not only are those readers ergonomic but also flexible! You can customize the housing by applying your corporate colors and/or having your logo printed on the reader. Ask for our customization options.
